Strickland Technology ("we", "us", "our") operates Strickland Editor, related websites (including stricklandai.com and web.stricklandai.com), and associated services (collectively, the "Service"). 2. Information We Collect

Account & billing

• Email address (account, receipts, and support)
• Name (optional)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers)
• Domain names and site identifiers you register for Editor access

Website connection credentials

• Host, username, port, and path for FTP/FTPS/SFTP connections
• WordPress username and application password (when you choose WordPress)
• Passwords and secrets encrypted at rest (AES-256) when stored for Editor use

Existing site content & editing

• HTML and related files from the website you already have, retrieved or written while you edit or preview
• Edit prompts, voice transcripts converted to text, and proposed changes to that existing site
• Preview and save history needed to operate the Editor (not a from-scratch site builder)

Usage & technical data

• IP addresses, browser/device information, and approximate location derived from IP
• Pages visited, feature usage, and diagnostic logs
• Cookies or similar technologies for session and security purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve Strickland Editor and related Services
• Connect to your website, process edit requests, and apply changes you approve
• Process payments, prevent fraud, and manage billing
• Send service-related notices (receipts, security, product updates)
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. Sharing & processors

We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the Service, including:

• Stripe — payments (stripe.com/privacy)
• Hosting, email, and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf
• Model / API vendors used to interpret edit instructions you submit

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Strickland Technology or others.

5. Retention & security

We retain account, billing, and connection data for as long as your Editor access remains active and as needed for legal, accounting, and security purposes. We use encryption, access controls, and industry-standard practices; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your choices

• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you
• Disconnect a site and ask us to remove stored credentials
• Opt out of non-essential marketing emails (service notices may still be sent)

7. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Payments & refunds

Strickland Technology processes Editor launch payments through Stripe. Billing email and payment metadata are used for receipts, fraud prevention, and support.

Refunds: 7-day refund ONLY if unused / not installed / no live edits. After install or any live edit, the $249 launch fee is non-refundable. Full policy: Refund Policy and Terms of Service.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
